The Advanced Open Water Scuba Diving course is designed to expand your diving skills and knowledge, enabling you to dive deeper and explore more challenging underwater environments. This course builds on what you learned in the Open Water Diver course and introduces you to new activities and adventures in diving.

What You’ll Learn
Deep Diving: Techniques for diving deeper, with a focus on managing the physiological effects and safety considerations of dives down to 30 meters.
Underwater Navigation: Advanced navigation skills using a compass and natural underwater features.
Specialty Dives: Choose three additional adventure dives to match your interests and improve specific skills. Options include night diving, wreck diving, peak performance buoyancy, underwater photography, and more.
[Note: Divers 15 or older earn an Advanced Open Water Diver certification
Divers between the age of 12-14 earn a Junior Advanced Open Water
Diver certification Divers 10-11 can earn a Junior Adventure Diver certification. Upon turning 12, they can complete the deep dive and earn a Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
Divers certified as Junior Advanced Open Water Divers automatically become Advanced Open Water Divers at age 15. Any replacement certification card or eCard purchased the day after the diver’s 15th birthday will automatically show an Advanced Open Water Diver (not Jr. Advanced Open Water Diver) certification.]
